According to The Wrap all four American Idol Judges will no longer be apart of the biggest talent audition show on right now besides The Voice. Read the statement below.
None of the four judges on the singing competition will be asked to return next season, an individual with knowledge of Fox’s plans told The Wrap. Longtime producer Nigel Lythgoe is expected to get the boot. And despite reports to the contrary, Fox isn’t even considering bringing former judge Jennifer Lopez back as a lifesaver for next season.
“All four are gone,” the insider told TheWrap. “They feel they’ve lost their core audience and they want it back.”
Driven by this belief and the need to attract younger viewers, Fox is set to make major on-air changes to “Idol,” the most notable of which will be an entirely new judging panel. New judges pop icon Mariah Carey, rapper Nicki Minaj and country star Keith Urban won’t be back. Even original judge Randy Jackson won’t survive the blood bath this time around.
All four judges have options to return for another season, but Fox won’t be picking them up, according to the knowledgeable individual, who said: “No more big checks for divas.”
Fox’s meltdown has everything to do with the talent competition’s declining viewership. Its ratings are already down 22 percent this season and it hit a series low for ratings last Thursday, when it attracted only 11 million viewers and a 2.4 rating/7 share in the ad-coveted 18-49 demographic. The ratings slide is especially problematic during May Sweeps, where ratings numbers are used to dictate advertising rates.
The network has resolved to stop paying the huge salaries it has been shoveling out for its big name talent, i.e. Carey’s reported $18 million package, Minaj’s $12 million salary and former judge Jennifer Lopez’s $15 million.
The show’s format will also change. Its look will be redesigned and the dated tribute nights will be a thing of the past. But the show’s trademark audition episodes will continue.

Singer Lauryn Hill’s failure to pay federal income taxes for three years has earned her a three-month prison sentence. The Grammy Award winner pleaded guilty last year to three counts of failing to file tax returns on more than $1.8 million between 2005 and 2007.
Despite getting her funds in order at the last minute and paying off her tax debt Lauryn Hill was still sentened to three months in federal prison for tax evasion!
Although Lauryn Hill’s lawyer told the media that she’d paid off nearly $970,000 in state and federal tax liabilities, a Newark, NJ judge sentenced her to three months in a federal prison today.
During the hearing, Lauryn defended her mounting tax debt, explaining that she dropped out of the music business but had always intended to fix her situation.
“I was put into a system I didn’t know the nature of. … I’m a child of former slaves. I got into an economic paradigm and had that imposed on me.” She added, “I sold 50 million units … now I’m up here paying a tax debt. If that’s not likened to slavery, I don’t know what is.”
Despite her plea, the judge in the case was unmoved by the statement and sentenced Lauryn to 3 months behind bars, 3 months of house arrest AND 9 months of supervised release!
The on again off again infamous duo known as Chrianna, have seemed to call it quits again. Due to Rihanna being on tour and Chris working on his comeback album, neither of them have the time to put into investing in or repairing their relationship.

Lately there has been a very hot topic in American sports involving athletes and their sexuality and the masculine stigma that athletes carry which have kept most gay male athletes in the closet. Today in sports, Boston Celtics center Jason Collins announced he was gay. While few Olympians, equestrians, figure skaters, and football player Esera Tuaolo, and former basketball player John Amaechi have all revealed they are gay, Collins is the first active player in the NBA to come out as an openly gay man. With the likes of alleged “closeted” gay athletes such as Kerry Rhodes pictured below, will more gay men and women find comfort in knowing other athletes are coming out the closet?
Above, Rhodes is pictured with former gay assistant where rumors started to swirl that the two were in a relationship. According to Rhodes’ assistant, those rumors are true. Rhodes has however denied the claims stating he has been with a woman for 10 years and they are getting married in June. “I am not gay. The shots were taken during a past vacation in a casual environment with my entire business team.”

Now I love me some Draya but she has apparently upset several of her fans by posting a pic of the late and great Whitney Houston on a shirt from her Fineassgirls clothing line via Instagram on the famous 4/20 date to empower young people to say no to drugs.
After receiving a multitude of angry messages and comments from her followers she took the photo above down and added this one below to redeem and explain herself………
Below is a quote from a recent interview where Draya explains her motivation behind her clothing line. Is she really empowering today’s young woman?
“I just wanted to start something that could motivate girls. Was Draya genuine and just in using Whitney’s face as a way to get people to say no to drugs or did she go to far in using the iconic Whitney Houston’s picture holding up a sign 20 years prior stating “say no to drugs” who also happen to pass away from the very message she is trying to promote? Following the NBA All Star Weekend’s big game Lil Wayne hosted “LIV on Sunday” All Star Weekend edition at Stereo Live in Houston, Texas. The event also served as a celebration of Birdman’s birthday. Celebs in attendance included Drake, J. Cole, Meek Mill, Machine Gun Kelly, Victor Cruz, Desean Jackson, and J Cole among others and Wayne had a message for all in attendance:
“If you’re wondering why you didn’t see me at the All Star Game,” Weezy began his rant, “It’s because I was banned from attending all NBA events. The Miami Heat got me banned.” You may remember last week when Lil Wayne was escorted out of a Heat game for cheering for the Lakers. Allegedly being kicked out of the game was just the beginning and now Lil Wayne is officially blacklisted from the NBA. Ouch! That’s not the worst part though. Last night the world tuned into watch the Super Bowl and mostly Beyonce, with Destiny Child group members Kelly and Michelle. Queen Bey slayed the stage as usual giving her fans and critics much to talk about after the super-dome was left with out power. Talk about “shut it down”, Bey did that! But, beyond Beyonce’s perfect performance there is much to be desired from Kelly and Michelle. After the trio hit the stage social media began to blow up with opinions and criticism, mostly directed towards Michelle. While many were praising Kelly, for her good looks and being able to keep up with the Queen, Michelle seemed to be performing a half step behind the other ladies and with a lowered microphone. While celebrities were tweeting their thoughts of the show, one colleague named Keyshia Cole “who does no wrong” seemed to be quite upset with Michelle’s performance. Many Destiny Child stans came for Keyshia calling her “irrelevant” and being able to never perform half time at the Super Bowl. Check out what Keyshia had to say to her Twitter followers below:

Chris Brown was involved in an all-out brawl with Frank Ocean Sunday night, and sources connected with Chris insist Ocean started it.
Chris was at Westlake Studio in the L.A. area listening to one of the artists he represents. The sources say as Chris went to leave, Frank Ocean and his crew blocked Chris from leaving. The sources say Frank said, “This is my studio, this is my parking spot.”
We’re told Chris went to shake Frank’s hand … and that’s when one of Frank’s people attacked Chris. Sources connected with Chris say one of Chris’ friends jumped in front and hit Frank’s friend.
Sources connected with Chris say Frank then came at Chris … Chris pushed him away and they started brawling.
The police were called and are on scene now.
UPDATE: 5:20 AM PT: After the incident, Ocean tweeted “got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. i only wish everest [his dog] was there. cut my finger now I can’t play w two hands at the grammys.”
Chris Instagramed Monday morning stating “Working on my album. Not working on negativity. Focus on feeding ya family. Bulls— will forever be in the shadows.”
UPDATE 3:00 AM PT: Cops say they will continue to investigate and want to speak with Chris Brown. They refer to Ocean as “the victim” because he’s the one who stuck around and spoke with police. Ocean said the fight started over a parking space (how L.A.) and Brown punched him. There were 6 people involved in the fight.
UPDATE 10:45PM PT: Police have cleared the scene. We’re told Chris Brown was not there when officers arrived — but they did speak to Frank Ocean. At this point … we’re told no one wants to press charges, and no arrests have been made.
