Brian McKnight: Making A Sexy Comeback?

The contemporary R&B artist Brian McKnight known for hits like “Anytime” and “She Used to be My Girl” is readying his fans for a unique but controversial comeback. What kind of comeback you ask, well an adult mixtape??? Read more after the break!  Many of Brian McKnight’s fans shared their feelings on twitter, some were for and some against the new ground Brian has attempted to gain.

Here are some of the lyrics to “If  you’re ready to learn”:

“Let me show you how your p—- works, since you didn’t bring it to me first/I have lots of things to show you if you’re ready to learn. Let me show you how your p—- works, bet you didn’t know that it could squirt. I have lots of things to show you if you’re ready to learn.”

In this YouTube clip the 16 time Grammy nominated singer explains why he is embarking on a new territory in releasing an adult mixtape.  “There’s lots of conversations I’ve had with men, lots of conversation I’ve had with women, just about other sexual type things that I’d like to tackle,” he said. “So I’m in the middle of writing that song and I’m gonna give you a preview.”

Here are some of the recent tweets Brian has posted on twitter due to the backlash and support of his followers:

@ItsBMcKnight I’ll let u all decide should I put it bac up or not some of u have said some awfully hateful things

@ItsBMcKnight It’s funny how we listen and let our kids listen to songs about killing people and selling drugs and calling women bitches

@ItsBMcKnight I wrote this song crude as it may be about satisfying all women and look what happened

We all know that in anything you do there will always be someone ready to criticize you….So should Brian continue on this new path or do we prefer Brian to stick to the beautiful ballads he sings best?
