You’re Fired: All Four American Idol Judges Will Not Be Returning Next Season

According to The Wrap all four American Idol Judges will no longer be apart of the biggest talent audition show on right now besides The Voice. Read the statement below.

None of the four judges on the singing competition will be asked to return next season, an individual with knowledge of Fox’s plans told The Wrap. Longtime producer Nigel Lythgoe is expected to get the boot. And despite reports to the contrary, Fox isn’t even considering bringing former judge Jennifer Lopez back as a lifesaver for next season.

“All four are gone,” the insider told TheWrap. “They feel they’ve lost their core audience and they want it back.”

Driven by this belief and the need to attract younger viewers, Fox is set to make major on-air changes to “Idol,” the most notable of which will be an entirely new judging panel. New judges pop icon Mariah Carey, rapper Nicki Minaj and country star Keith Urban won’t be back. Even original judge Randy Jackson won’t survive the blood bath this time around.

All four judges have options to return for another season, but Fox won’t be picking them up, according to the knowledgeable individual, who said: “No more big checks for divas.”

Fox’s meltdown has everything to do with the talent competition’s declining viewership. Its ratings are already down 22 percent this season and it hit a series low for ratings last Thursday, when it attracted only 11 million viewers and a 2.4 rating/7 share in the ad-coveted 18-49 demographic. The ratings slide is especially problematic during May Sweeps, where ratings numbers are used to dictate advertising rates.

The network has resolved to stop paying the huge salaries it has been shoveling out for its big name talent, i.e. Carey’s reported $18 million package, Minaj’s $12 million salary and former judge Jennifer Lopez’s $15 million.

The show’s format will also change. Its look will be redesigned and the dated tribute nights will be a thing of the past. But the show’s trademark audition episodes will continue.

Considering American Idol’s core audience is Middle America, do you believe they weren’t able to relate to the over the top Nicki Minaj and divaextrodinare Mariah Carey? Kanye West And Kim Khardashian Expecting Their First Child Together

As the end of 2012 wraps up we have seen celebrity engagements, breakups and infamous love triangles, but of course the couple of 2012 Kimye, had to go out with a bang and announce they are expecting their first child together…

Here’s what ABC News has reported:

“The Kardashian clan is about to have a new addition to the family now that reality-TV star Kim Kardashian is pregnant with Kanye West’s child, according to her rep.

West, 35, broke the news Sunday night during a concert in Atlantic City. West told more than 5,000 concertgoers to congratulate his “baby mom” and that this was the “most amazing thing.”

“KIMYE!,” sister Khloe Kardashian Odom tweeted. “Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!!! LOVE is everything!!!,” she added.

Soon after the tweet, the hashtag #Kimye took off on Twitter and was trending worldwide. Most of the Kardashian clan tweeted their excitement via Twitter.

“Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can! Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!,” tweeted Kardashian’s other sister, Kourtney Kardashian, 33, who has two children of her own.

Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, expressed her excitement on Twitter, tweeting, “Oh BABY BABY BABY!!”

Congratulatory tweets are already pouring in for the future parents.

“Congrats to Kim and Kanye. Happy for both of them,” Russell Simmons tweeted.

Kardashian, 32, filed for divorce from NBA star Kris Humphries October 2011 after 72 days of marriage. The divorce is not yet finalized.

West, 35, and Kardashian began dating in April.”

The flirty, messy but beautiful Miss USA (dare call her Miss America) Kenya Moore, newest cast member of Real Housewives of Atlanta has given the franchise’s fans a lot to talk about this season. For her cattiness, crazy ways, ass clapping and strange relationship, she has definitely been one to watch.

As of recently, Kenya’s “ex or play” boyfriend Walter, exposed a huge secret displaying his actual role in Kenya’s life and on the RHOA. Recently, Walter Jackson spoke with Funky Dineva and on Monday appeared on Atlanta’s v103 where he told the morning show that the two were romantically involved for only 3 months about three years ago. Kenya called Walter earlier this year and wanted to know if he would play her reality TV boyfriend for RHOA. He also stated when the RHOA cameras started rolling for the current season of the show, he thought it was “me and Kenya’s secret” and that they were only acting. Bravo never knew of their secret.

Below is Walter’s response to FunkyDineva:

“Walter let it be known that no one in Atlanta has EVER seen him out with Kenya. Walter insinuated that he and Kenya have never even hunched. Jackson set the record straight, letting it be known that he met Kenya three years ago and that they dated for 3 months.

This past April, Jackson received a phone call from Kenya stating that she would be moving to Atlanta to join the cast of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta and would he be interested in “playing” her boyfriend. After agreeing, in an attempt to secure 15 minutes of fame, Walter says he was completely caught off guard when Kenya started telling producers and other cast-mates that they were headed in the direction of marriage and making there relationship seem much larger than they agreed to portray.”

Also, on the Rickey Smiley Show this morning Walter also appeared there (clearly making his rounds) and stated all the above and said he had no intentions on exposing Kenya. He felt the need to say something  after the gay rumors began to circulate after viewers saw his laid back demeanor when Kenya flirted with Apollo. He also stated he’s single and hasn’t spoken to Kenya since August!

In a statement to The Dish and Wendy, Kenya sets the record straight about anything you’ve heard Walter say this week: “The truth is and has always been that I want to be in a loving, honest, long-term relationship with someone who genuinely loves me for me – Walter’s recent statements are completely false. I am embarrassed that I allowed a deceitful and hateful person in my life. He says he ‘did it for fame.’”

“I’ve been humiliated enough by appearing desperate for a man to marry me who now admits he had his own agenda. I urge viewers to stay tuned because the truth will come to light. I am moving on from this situation and hope he can as well with respect and dignity going forward. I have heard the fans and my friends loud and clear… I can do better than Walter, and I will.”

Monkey See, Monkey Do: Bobbi Kristina’s Boo, Brother, Ex, Nick Gordon Arrested for Reckless Driving

Bobbi Kristina’s partner-in-crime, Nick Gordon was arrested last night after driving recklessly in a heavily populated area.  He was going at a speed of 82 in a 35 mph zone on Northpoint Freeway in Alpharetta, GA hours after Bobbi Kristina wrecked her Camaro.

TMZ reports:

“Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Nick was taken into custody in Alpharetta, Georgia last night … after cops say he was going 82 in a 35 on Northpoint Parkway .. a retail area with high pedestrian foot traffic.

One law enforcement source tells us, “We are fortunate because that’s such a busy corridor with high end retail shopping retaurants and pedestrains at crosswalks.”

The source adds, “At that speed, it’s absolutely reckless.”

Just hours before Nick’s encounter with the law TMZ reported:
“Whitney Houston‘s daughter Bobbi Kristina has miraculously emerged unscathed after wrecking her Chevy Camaro in a frightening car crash moments ago … TMZ has learned.

The accident just went down in Alpharetta, Georgia — law enforcement tells us a passer-by noticed Bobbi’s car all smashed up in an embankment and called 911.

When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, Bobbi Kristina was standing next to her vehicle and appeared to be uninjured.

Cops conducted an official accident investigation — and believe Bobbi Kristina simply lost control of her car while making a left turn out of her apartment complex … and drove over a curb and down an embankment, striking several small trees along the way.

Eventually, the car came to a stop on a local park trail.

After the investigation, cops issued BK a traffic citation for “failure to maintain lane.”
Cops say … it doesn’t appear drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.”

Nicki Minaj Brings the Hood to American Idol and Cusses Mariah Carey Out

Above, Nicki Minaj proves in true hoodrat fashion during a taping of American Idol auditions that she is bout that life and gives Mariah Carey a piece of her mind. In the footage you’ll see Mariah Carey taking the high road while Nicki lets her have it. Nicki’s reservations about joining American Idol have seemed to come to light in the video above, as rumors circulated during the summer on a supposed beef between the two divas.

Nicki Minaj derailed the “American Idol” auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina today, after swearing at Mariah Carey and threatening, “I’m gonna knock you out” … sources tell TMZ.

In the footage, obtained by TMZ, Nicki is clearly furious … shouting, “I told them, I’m not f*ckin’ putting up with her f*ckin’ highness over there.”

Sources say Nicki later threatened to “knock out” Mariah … but that part wasn’t captured on tape.

It all went down while the two were sitting at the judge’s table … with Keith Urban sitting in between them and Randy Jackson sitting on the far end, next to Mariah.

We’re told the whole thing exploded over a disagreement about a contestant’s performance.

According to our friends at MouthToEars.com, producers ended the auditions for the day so the two judges could cool down.

Big wigs on the show seem uncharacteristically upset by the blow up — it appears this was no joke and it seems producers are worried about Mariah and Nicki co-existing for the long haul.

Ya think?

“Ohhhhh, why, why, why?” Carey responds. In the midst of Minaj’s loud reactions, it sounds like Carey brings up the subject of her two children, whom she would like to be spending time with versus arguing.

“Good, well then go see them now. Go see them now!” Minaj shoots back.

Although, I’m not sure what started the argument, Nicki definitely needs to humble herself. Do you agree?

Over The Top American Idol Rivalry? Seasoned Mariah Carey Vs. Nicki Minaj

Since former American Idol judges J. Lo and Steven Tyler will no longer be gracing the Idol stage with their presence and expertise advice, the show’s producers have decided to not only seek out the experienced diva, Mrs. Mariah Carey but the biggest pop-rapper of the moment, Nicki Minaj whom have both become replacement judges for the show.

With American Idol coming up on its 12th season and after a huge drop in ratings during season eleven, Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly announced that the show would undergo “some creative tweaking” for this season.

Both over the top, with one portrayed as exaggerated and gimmicky while the other dignified and legendary (some may consider) will have the ability to work together or will the real competition be between these two?

Here’s what TMZ is reporting :

“Nicki Minaj may well become a judge on “American Idol,” but it will be at the expense of Mariah Carey, who we’re told hung up the phone when she was told Nicki was the top candidate.

Sources connected with “Idol” tell TMZ that Mariah was led to believe she would be the only woman on the judge’s panel.  Choosing Nicki would not only crush that expectation, it would add insult to injury because Nicki (29) is a lot younger than Mariah (42).

As for the composition of the judge’s panel, we’re told by no means is it a done deal.  There are 2 scenarios being played out.  First, it’s unclear if Randy Jackson will come back as a judge or a mentor.  If he leaves the judge’s panel, there will be another spot to fill.

The second scenario is we’re told some of the honchos believe it’s a mistake to have 2 women and a man on the panel, and a 4th male judge would be necessary.

As for who’s still in the running, we’re told Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and Enrique Iglesias are leading the pack.

And there’s one other thing.  Sources connected with the show say they’re worried if the judge’s end up being Mariah, Nicki and Randy, because middle America might not welcome the blackout.”

If Mariah Carey wants to add an additional 18 million dollars to her fortune and ensure music sales for her up and coming album I suggest she role with the producers decision and not let an up and coming rapper still her shine….

Chad & Ev Unemployed! Fired from Miami Dolphins and Cancelled from VH1

As most of you have heard by now, Chad “formerly Ochocinco” Johnson (NFL’s most attention-seeking, antic-pulling receiver) has been fired from the Miami Dolphins for being charged with domestic violence for head-butting his wife of 39 days. After coming home Saturday evening, wife Evelyn, found a receipt of condoms that led the newlyweds to a verbal and physical altercation in front of their Miami home.

Evelyn Lozada, wife of Chad has made her way into fame through staring in the hit reality show Basketball Wives (from being in a 10-year relationship with NBA player Antoine Walker). Ev, has played her way into becoming the most famous basketball wife on the show for her confrontational fights, attention-sloring and beef with fellow cast mates. Desperate for love and a fairytale wedding, Evelyn made it clear on an episode of BBW during their engagement if Chad was on the road he could have sex outside of her, as long as he used condoms…

Foolish in my opinion to agree to such a thing, but it sounds like Evelyn bit off more than she could chew…

Now, after actually catching her husband cheating, the BBW reality star has a three inch laceration (that needed stitches) that her unfaithful husband according to Evelyn and Davie County police caused.

After reports came out that Miami has released Chad from his contract despite reports from ABC News Radio, VH1 released the following official statement…

“Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.”

Not only have the football checks stop, so will the checks from VH1!

I am personally one to wish everyone’s marriage the best and will never condone domestic violence, but does “Billy Bad Ass” Evelyn, deserve her demise at fame especially for her “mean girl” portrayal on Basketball Wives?

Even after she agreed to Chad using condoms with other women, was she justified in getting upset about the condom receipt?

Will Chad and Evelyn split or reconcile? Was VH1 just in not airing the reality show? Will Chad be able to resurrect his career for next year’s NFL season?

Kanye’s Ode To His “Perfect Bitch” And Kim Feeling Honored?

It’s no secret that Kanye practically worships the ground Kim Khardashian walks on, so in true Kanye fashion he decided to take to the studio and create an ode to his “Perfect Bitch”, Kim. The Daily News reports, “the lyrics are about his search for the perfect woman and how he has now found the ‘perfect bitch.’” 

The reality TV star has reportedly expressed her thoughts on the song according to TMZ: “I’m honored. I love it,” adding, “I know he doesn’t mean it in a negative way when he says the word ‘bitch.’” Kardashian praised the song, saying that it “talks about how he was with so many other girls but could never find the right one until he met me.” Kim is also real pleased about the way Kanye describes her body in the song….Figures

And Honored?..Mmm okay Kim

The talented rapper/producer could not have found a more arrogant and condescending title to his dedication anthem but we are describing two adjectives that best represent Kanye. If Kim doesn’t mind, why should I?….It may not be Nas’s “Makings of a Perfect Bitch” but I’m still curious to hear the lyrics to this song…

The song will appear on the upcoming Cruel Summer (September 4) compilation album from G.O.O.D. Music.

Gospel celebrities such as Mary Mary and Marvin Sapps have taken interest into presenting their livelihood through cameras. Willing to expose their life differences and similarity as a human being is grabbing attention for all viewers to see.

Marvin Sapp agreed to present his life to the public on his new reality television show called “Single Dad” as a single parent of three children (Madisson, Makaila and Marvin ML Sapp II). After, the lost of his wife Melinda Sapp (from Colon Cancer) his role as a parent has become a role that many men and women can relate. Including his career being a famous Gospel singer and ministering the mega church Lifehouse as the head Pastor, he is willing to revile the hardship and extraordinary position as a full time father.

Should Women Pump Their Own Gas?? KimYe Thinks So!

When pondering on the extinction of chivalry, women and men alike often visualize a man refusing to pick up a check, help a lady over a puddle, pull out a chair, or even open a car door.  All these tasks are pretty standard under the umbrella of chivalry, but now ask yourself this: “Would a man open a car door for a lady if he knew she was going to pump the gas?” Or is pumping gas just another arduous task that should be filed under the label of gentlemanly behavior?? Let’s check with the A-listers on this one.

Yesterday, Armenian beauty and celeb socialite, Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend, hip hop superstar, Kanye West were spotted in Yeezy’s limited edition Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 pulling into a gas station near the Westfield Topanga Plaza in Canoga Park, CA,  but when the Lambo doors glided up, it was not Mr. College Dropout that popped out and headed to the pump.  It was little Miss Kim who emerged from the passenger side, sporting a killer pair of mid-calf boot stillettos and skin tight jeans.  That’s right!! Kanye sat in the car and allowed his woman to do the dirty work!!!  Why?? One scenario could be that the publicity-crazed Kim K. was looking to get some beauty shots in front of a crowd of paparrazi? On the other hand though, word on the celeb grapevine (according to Ray-J) is that Kim enjoys spoiling her man.  However, could the former QuickTrim queen have gone a little too far with the boyfriend-doting here?  Furthermore, what’s up with Kanye?? Kim isn’t a round the way chick. Doesn’t she deserve the royal treatment as well?  What if she smudged her lip gloss putting back on the gas cap?

It’s cool that men and women are now able to share responsibilities that traditionally were assigned to a specified gender, but should there be certain more difficult and filth prone jobs that should stay assigned to men when they are present like pumping gas, killing spiders, and mowing the lawn? Or is it cool to share the work equally? Maybe? Maybe not? What’s your opinion? (865)
