My Top 5 Natural Hair YouTube Channels

Since making my decision to become natural this past September, I like many people hightailed it over to YouTube to do some research. I have spent countless h0urs and sleepless nights trying to find someone who had a similar hair type or someone I could really relate to and in doing so I came across 5 channels that will always be my top favorites. Being natural at times is not easy and is a lot of work and these channels encouraged me to embrace what is naturally mine!  Catch more after the jump! These are in no particular order as I like them all!

Ambrosia Malbrough AKA Xgoldn

I first came across Xgoldn’s YouTube channel when I was looking up yarn braids and while I decided I wouldn’t wear them myself, I thought her’s looked beautiful on her. Not only does she give tutorials on how to achieve natural hairstyles, like how to achieve to perfect ‘fro, but she also gives beauty tutorials and has her own boutique where she sells  cute jewlery for a great price! http://blboutique.bigcartel.com/

IKnowLee

Iknowlee has been a lifesaver for me because when I first cut my hair I was really struggling for styles I could rock with the little amount of hair I have and seeing as we have a similar hair type (give it up for type 4 hair!) she rescued me from some bad hair days. She also does makeup tutorials, outfit of the day videos, and her favorites videos. Her tutorials are easy to do and the final look is so beautiful.

Taren Guy

While Taren and I don’t have the same hair type, I found her big chop inspiring and the cut was so cute! She also makes some fierce DIY wigs that look so natural, makeup tutorials, and has great videos discussing real life issues that can make for a great debate and/or discussion.

LethalPleazure

LethalPleazure became my favorite recently because she seems so real and down to earth. We have a similar hair type as well and she taught me how to do an excellent banded wash n go. Her tutorials are excellent and she also discusses real life issues that are very easy to relate to.

LoveIslandBeauty

Not only is LoveIslandBeauty and artist and makeup artists in real life, but she gives great advice for naturals and discusses the products she’s using in her hair. I found her reason for big chopping similar to mine, which is why she became a fast favorite, I have gotten many ideas from her on styling and tutorials are easy to follow as well. (750)
