I think I’ve heard it all with these rappers and adding dropping names and spiritual transitions. I am all for spiritual enlightenment and growth but this one was by far the most interesting testimonies I’ve ever heard. Mase going gospel and now Snopp Dogg is now fulfilled with the spirit of a lion.
Preparing myself for work this morning watching CNN, I couldn’t believe this was on the headline news. During Snopp Dogg visit in Jamaica he was enlightened that he was no longer a dog but a lion. Snoop Lion told reporters on Monday after meeting with Rastafarian priest that he was rechristened Snoop Lion. After reading his response to reporters made me feel like I was getting an instance high from whatever high he was on at the time.
According to news.com.au Snoop Lion enlighten us with his experience with Priest Rastafarian “ I didn’t know that until I went to the temple, where the High Priest asked me what my name was, and I said, ‘Snoop Dogg’. And he looked at me in my eyes and said, ‘No more. You are the light; you are the lion. ’From that moment on, it’s like I had started to understand why I was here.”

Why would he acknowledge himself as Snoop Dogg to the High Priest? Where was Calvin Broadus, Jr? It wasn’t stated if marijuana was in his system during this time but I wouldn’t be surprised if Mary Jane enhance this decision.
Will the public respect Snoop’s new stage name or will he continue to be acknowledged as Snoop Dogg? Will his fans support his new genre of music (Reggae)? Does the public really care? (3608)
