Singer Monifah, discovered by the late Heavy D. discussed her challenges in the music business, losing her record deal, her addiction to cocaine and her new reality show…
In Monifah’s second album she and Heavy D’s relationship failed and due to his untimely death she wished they would have spoken to mend their broken relationship.
After dealing with abandonment issues in losing her record deal, Monifah was unable to bounce back and fell victim to cocaine for seven years to numb the pain she was suffering from.
After battling her addiction and becoming sober for a year she is now ready for her new journey…
